PREVENTATIVE HEALTH CARE
Annual wellness exams provide a strong foundation for your pet’s well-being. A general health assessment, vaccinations, and routine lab work all help to keep your pet healthy and happy for the fun and excitement that life has to offer.
Caring for your pet’s teeth can help to prevent future health problems. LPAH is equipped to provide a full oral health assessment, as well as deep cleaning and polishing, digital dental X-rays, tooth extractions, and minor oral surgery when needed.
The LPAH in-house laboratory helps our doctors to identify illness and diagnose disease quickly. When necessary, we also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
LPAH is able to directly provide for most of your pet’s immediate pharmaceutical needs at competitive prices. If the need arises, we are also able to special order medications from other pharmacies with a quick turn-around time.
The LPAH highly-trained Certified Veterinary Technicians use the most up to date monitoring equipment and techniques to ensure your pet has the safest anesthesia experience we can provide.
In some cases, we are able to avoid more invasive surgical procedures by using our video endoscope to remove foreign bodies or to obtain diagnostic biopsies.
SURGERY (TRADITIONAL AND LAPAROSCOPIC)
Our modern surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, and LPAH is one of the few veterinary hospitals in Colorado equipped to offer minimally-invasive laparoscopy for spays and diagnostic biopsies.
We understand that surgery can be a stressful time for you and for your pet, so we will take whatever time is necessary to explain each step of your pet’s surgery and recovery in as much detail as you need.
To provide the best possible patient care, we have developed a network of local specialists who are able to lend their expertise to our more complicated medical and surgical cases.
