The Department of Agriculture requires us to only accept and administer medications from their original prescription containers while your pet is in our care. All supplements are required to be in their original packaging.
If you provide a prescription medication for your pet, and it is not in the original prescription bottle, we will not be able to administer that medication.
If your pet is a Longs Peak Animal Hospital patient, we can provide a refill of any of their medications for the cost of the refill.
If your pet is not a Longs Peak Animal Hospital patient, we can call your veterinarian and have the medication prescription faxed to us. We will fill the prescription here at our hospital if possible. If the prescription must be filled off-site, there will be a pick-up fee added to the price of the prescription.
All sedative/calming supplements, to be given while in our care MUST be prescribed by a veterinarian and MUST have the original label intact on the packaging.
